2013-06-22 Shevock wins Coolest 8 Hr MTB Race Against Cancer
Ron Shevock took the overall win in the Solo 8 Hour category at Global Biorhythm Events Coolest 8 & 24 Hour MTB Race Against Cancer this past weekend. Following a few races racing single speed on his Giant XTC Composite 29’er hardtail, Ron switched over to his geared full suspension Giant Anthem X Advanced 0 to gobble up 8 laps, or nearly 90 miles and 9,000 vertical of fireroads and singletrack on a clockwise variation of the “Olmstead Loop” in Cool, CA in approximately 7 hours and 20 minutes of riding time.

Congratulations to Ron Shevock for taking 2nd place at SS Open at SoNoMas XC. 34 miles and 7000 vert of climbing (Ouch!) 3.5 hr finish time for Ron.
